• Account & Authentication Information: When you sign up or log in, we collect your email address and authentication tokens via our secure authentication provider (Supabase Auth).
• Public Instructor Profile Data: Information you provide to create your public TeachCard, including your username, display name, bio, subject tags, pricing/rates, profile avatar, and vertical intro video media.
• Third-Party Integration Identifiers: Your Cal.com booking link/slug and Stripe Connect account identifiers needed to route booking requests and direct payouts.
• Technical & Usage Information: Standard server logs, device type, browser information, IP address, and platform usage metrics to ensure reliability, security, and spam prevention.

03. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To host, render, and stream your public Video TeachCard at your personalized URL (teachcard.me/username).
• To provide access to the instructor studio dashboard where you can edit settings and manage integrations.
• To seamlessly embed Cal.com calendar scheduling and trigger Stripe payment flows.
• To protect against abuse, fraudulent activity, spam, and unauthorized account access.
• To send essential transactional notifications (such as sign-in magic links).

04. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties or advertising networks. We share information only with trusted service providers strictly necessary to deliver the Service:

• Public Viewers: Your public profile details (display name, bio, video reel, subject tags, rates, and Cal.com booking link) are publicly viewable on your custom link so prospective students can discover and book you.
• Supabase: For secure database hosting, user authentication, and Row Level Security (RLS) enforcement.
• Mux: For high-performance video encoding, optimization, and global CDN video streaming.
• Stripe: For processing payments, billing, and direct payouts under Stripe Connect. We never store raw credit card or bank account details on our servers.
• Cal.com: For scheduling availability and calendar synchronization.

05. Data Security & Storage

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures, including HTTPS encryption in transit, cryptographic hashing, and strict PostgreSQL Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring that only you can modify your personal profile and settings.

06. Your Data Rights & Choices

You have control over your data. At any time, you may:

• Update or modify your profile details, video, rates, and links directly from your studio dashboard.
• Request an export of your personal information stored on GetTeachCard.
• Request permanent deletion of your account, profile, and uploaded video media by contacting us.

07. Children's Privacy

Our Service is intended for educators and users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
