01. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to GetTeachCard (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website, services, and applications at getteachcard.com or teachcard.me (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

02. Description of the Service

GetTeachCard provides an online platform allowing educators, coaches, and tutors (“Instructors”) to create video-first public booking profiles (“TeachCards”), connect their scheduling providers (such as Cal.com), and integrate payment solutions (such as Stripe) to accept bookings from students and clients (“Students”).

03. Accounts & Registration

To create a TeachCard and access the instructor dashboard, you must register for an account using a valid email address and authenticate via our secure magic link or single sign-on system. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.
• Ensuring that all information provided during registration is accurate and up to date.
• All activities and content posted under your account.

04. Instructor Content & Video Guidelines

Instructors may upload or embed introductory video reels, profile photos, bios, subject tags, and rates. By submitting content to GetTeachCard, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or possess the necessary licenses, rights, and permissions to publish the uploaded media.
• Your video content does not contain unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or fraudulent material.
• Your content does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove any TeachCard or video content that violates these guidelines or poses risk to our community.

05. Bookings, Payments & Stripe Direct Payouts

GetTeachCard facilitates connections between Instructors and Students. Please note:

• Direct Relationship: Lessons and tutoring services are contracts entered into directly between the Instructor and the Student. GetTeachCard is not an employer, agent, or party to instructional agreements.
• Payment Processing: Payments are processed via Stripe Connect. Instructors must maintain an active, verified Stripe account in good standing to receive payouts.
• Cancellations & Refunds: Instructors determine their own cancellation and rescheduling policies. Any refund disputes should be resolved directly between the Instructor and Student.

06. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of your personal videos, branding, and profile media. By publishing on GetTeachCard, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, transcode, and display your public profile content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting your TeachCard.

The GetTeachCard name, logo, website interface, custom styling, software, and trademarks remain the exclusive property of GetTeachCard.

07. Third-Party Integrations

Our Service integrates with third-party software including Cal.com for scheduling, Stripe for payment processing, and Mux for video streaming. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

08. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GETTEACHCARD DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL GETTEACHCARD BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM OR SERVICES ARRANGED THROUGH THE PLATFORM.

09. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms at any time. When updates occur, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service following modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
